Why is appreciation so important?
Everyone wants to know that what they do matters, otherwise we feel like a commodity. More than 80% of people say they are more motivated when they are appreciated. In our busy, high pressured working lives, we often don’t take the time to take a step back and appreciate others. Are you aware of the positive differences you can make and receive by learning more about this interesting concept?
Lack of appreciation means we lack connectedness with each other and the company we work for. We can become discouraged and start to complain more, and this the point at which we start to think about leaving the company.
